  1. So, Most Beloved and I are sitting here, his grandparents were snow birds and lived in FL every winter. I asked him if he’s ever been to Key West, and he says yes. After I picked myself up off the floor from surprise, I asked him if it was wwaaayyy out there, and he says No, it was just a fishing town, quite ordinary. I tell him it couldn’t be ordinary, Ernest Hemmingway lived there, and he goes, “Who’s Ernest Hemmingway, I was there in the 70’s, he probably didn’t live there then.” Sigh. . . . 🙂 Some people’s husbands! 🙂

Everybody has a different perspective. 🙂 Key West seceeded from the US at one time and became the Conch Republic. New Years Eve 2000 they put a drag queen in a giant shoe and dropped her/him from a balcony on Duval St. I don’t think it’s the Key West your hubby was thinking of LOL

Great shots. Feel like I am there. I especially like your new cat banner and the artful flamingoes! I was there in 1978 or 1979 and do not remember so many colorful options to enjoy.
